What excites Adam most about The Mount is watching Jesus change lives. Whether it's seeing a marriage restored, someone finding hope in their darkest season, or welcoming a first-time guest who never imagined they'd walk in a church, these moments drive his vision. Our Lead Pastor is committed to ensuring the church is anything but predictable, because the message of Jesus is anything but ordinary. It’s extraordinary!

Adam’s mission is to help build a church that's impossible for our community to ignore, not because we're making noise, but because lives are genuinely transformed with the hope of Jesus. Adam is growing the kind of church that takes bold steps of faith. Originally from Oklahoma City, he completed Master's Degrees in Divinity and Nonprofit Management in Chicago. Adam, Kristin and their boys Emerson and Micah landed at The Mount in 2022 and have loved calling it home ever since. You might see Adam out for a run, or prepping his signature move, a good prank. He's still wearing the crown of Mario Kart champion at home and is convinced he will continue to do so as long as there’s chips and queso to fuel the competition.

We’re grateful Broadway stages didn’t lure Brian away in 2006 after he left the corporate world. A trained and working actor, Brian instead began pouring his gifts and focus into reaching people with the hope of Jesus. His journey in ministry led him to Alaska, before joining the Mount staff in 2018. Through his role as Director of Operations, Brian leads finance, facilities and IT activities, using all his gifting to ensure The Mount is reaching people around the globe. His studies and excitement leading people to serve in the unique way God made them, occasionally get in the way of his pursuit of a scratch handicap on the local links. But more important than golf, Brian is devoted to his wife Therisa and their children Cheyenne, Loralai and Rogan.

With tireless passion, Katie is dedicated to equipping people for God's mission to chase after that One More. She loves The Mount's vision to keep doors open and welcome anyone seeking refuge, community and life-change. For Kaite, the church truly is the hands and feet of Jesus, making an impact both in local communities and around the world.

Katie began attending The Mount in 2008 and stepped into ministry in 2015 as Tech Director. As Executive Director of Creative Arts, she has the privilege of overseeing and supporting the incredible and gifted communications, worship and tech ministries. A proud Florida Gator - where she met her husband, Don - she has passed along her orange-and-blue loyalty to their seven children: Donald, Clara, Noah, Micah, Elijah, Timothy, and Joseph. She is also the proud wife of a Marine who served 24 years. When she's not running laps around campus, you can find Katie watching K-dramas, cheering on the Gators, or staying properly caffeinated with her favorite lifeline: Diet Coke.

Born in Singapore to an Air Force family, Imani’s childhood took her across Europe before Virginia became home. Volunteering and investing in relationships have shaped much of her life. As she came to know Jesus, her passion for helping others discover their sweet spot for serving only continued to grow. Since entering vocational ministry in 2013, Imani has been devoted to equipping people to use their God-given gifts, most currently in her role as Director of Engagement leading outreach, missions and connections.

When she’s not building better systems or cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, you’ll likely find her enjoying time with her people, working on a puzzle, or reading a great book. More than anything, Imani treasures her husband, Clarence, their five daughters, Madeleine, Maria, Stephanie, Monserrat, and Nia, and the newest source of family joy, their grandson Mateo.

Life is best lived in community. Without a doubt, Susan’s vision, leadership and authentic joy in relationship are fueled by her resolve that people best encounter Jesus in a Christ-centered community that walks alongside them. Throughout 30 years of ministry, Susan has cultivated communities where you can be surrounded by people who encourage, challenge, and point you toward Jesus.

If Susan is in the building, you’ll certainly hear peals of laughter, and most likely a Wahoowa during college basketball season. Her cup is never more full than when she is with her people, husband Ed and their three children, Joshua, Ruth and Dibora. Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Susan began serving in ministry over 30 years ago. In her role as Director of Discipleship for adults, students and kids, Susan leads people to move from simply attending church to truly belonging. Her hope is that people will find authentic community, grow in their faith, and discover how God has uniquely gifted them to share their faith with others.
