Serve One Another

Our God is great… so great that defining Him is a challenge: to what could we possibly compare His power, His intelligence, His love? He is the greatest good that has ever existed and as such is the greatest being that ever could exist. And what does our God do with all of His power and wisdom: He serves. The evening before He is crucified, He takes a towel and some water and washes His disciples feet. Once finished, He poses a question, “Do you understand what I have done?” Do you understand that I, the most powerful being in the universe, willingly perform the task of the lowest servant? If I am willing to use my power to serve, you should too. We are never more like Jesus that when we serve one another.
