THINK ON THIS:

Would you say you rejoice in the Lord? Many would answer “yes,” but let’s put the question differently: “Would those around you say you rejoice in the Lord?”

We rejoice in God in many ways together as the church: gathering, singing, studying, praying, serving, and giving. All of these are how we come to rejoice in the Lord together. We do it not for ourselves but to worship the Lord for who He is and proclaim His name. The challenging part can be living in such a way away from the church.

Does your outpouring of joyful worship continue beyond the church walls during your week? Do others see your life and know you as someone who rejoices in the Lord? To challenge you further regarding the result of your rejoicing: have you told others of your joy in Christ? If we worship the Lord and seek to praise Him, we must tell others of Him. It is not an option if we feel we want to do it; it is the last command given by Christ to His followers. (Matthew 28:19-20) We are to praise the Lord and tell others what He has done. (Psalm 105:2)

Do not confine your joyful worship to the church’s walls this week. Rejoice in God outside the church and proclaim your joy in Him as Savior.

REFLECT:

Would those around you say you rejoice in the Lord? If they would not, how can you change that? If they would, have you told them about your joy in Christ?

PIENSA EN ESTO:

¿Dirías que te regocijas en el Señor? Muchos dieran que sí, pero a hora vamos a preguntar la pregunta en otra manera: ¿Dirían las personas alrededor de que tú te regocijas en el Señor?

Juntos como iglesia nos regocijamos en Dios de muchas maneras: reuniéndonos, cantando, estudiando, orando, sirviendo y dando. Todas estas son formas en cómo nos regocijamos en el Señor juntos. No lo hacemos por nosotros mismos sino para adorar al Señor por quien es el y para proclamar su nombre. El parte desafiante puede ser vivir de una manera que nos aleja de la iglesia.

¿Tu alabanza va más allá de las paredes de la iglesia durante la semana? ¿Los demás te ven como una persona que se regocija en el Señor? Para desafiarte aún mas con respecto al resultado de tu regocijo: ¿Le has contado a otros de tu gozo en Cristo? Si adoramos al Señor y buscamos en alabarlo, debemos hablarles a otros de Él. No es una opción si sentimos que queremos hacerlo, es el último mandato que nos da. (Mateo 28:19-20) Debemos adorar al Señor y compartir con los demás de lo que Dios ha hecho en tu vida.

¿Dirías que te regocijas en el Señor? Muchos responderían “Si”, pero a hora vamos a preguntarlo de otra manera: ¿Dirían los de tu alrededor que tú te regocijáis en el Señor?

REFLEJA:

¿Dirían los quien te rodean que tú te regocijas en el Señor? Si no lo ven, ¿Cómo puedes cambiar? ¿Y si lo ven, les compartido de tu gozo en Cristo?
