Profile of The Mount // The Mount Church was founded in 1907 in Stafford Virginia when there weren’t any paved roads! Started by just a few families, the Mount has grown to over 3000 in attendance across 3 physical locations and a campus online. The Mount Church is a growing multi-ethnic church that has been called to make a difference for one more.

Personal Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Kid Ministry Director and the Ministry who is requesting childcare
  • Work with the Kid Ministry Director advertise for “Childcare Employee” positions
  • Interview and hire new workers and obtain all necessary employee paperwork
  • Instruct all workers on all policies as set by The Mount and the Kid’s Ministry
  • Obtain childcare employees for all weekly and special events with correct ratios
  • Ensure all rooms are ready when staff arrive
  • Plan and purchase supplies for weekly activities 
  • Approve childcare employee timecards when pay period ends
  • Attend and provide leadership for all special event childcare or obtain a Team Leader
  • Create and maintain groups in Ministry Platform
  • Enroll all kids in groups and maintain family information in Ministry Platform
  • Set up kiosks and ensure Check In is working correctly for security tags
  • Be available for instructions or questions from parents
  • Handle discipline issues as they arise
  • Other duties as assigned
