Is the Bible reliable Part 2 (Trust) by Pastor Yayo

THINK ON THIS:

In 2022 I (Pastor Yayo) had a big surgery that required a specialist, a person that I would trust to operate on my body. I didn’t know the doctor like I know a friend, I had only seen him two times in my life. I never questioned if my doctor was reliable, all I did to see if I could trust him was to search his reviews on Google and trust that he would do his job right, which he did. I trusted his degree hanging on the wall of his office. Just like we trust our doctors, we have to trust that The Bible is reliable.

THINK ON THIS:

When it comes to God and the Bible, the same principles apply. We choose what we trust. Faith in God means that we have chosen to trust that He exists, that He is who the Bible says He is. Look at this fact about The Bible: The Bible has the most copies that have survived of any ancient text, making it possible to check for errors or corruption in the text. There are about 24,000 ancient manuscripts from different parts of the world, some dating back to the second century. This information clarifies that if a variant is discovered in an Egyptian manuscript, it can be compared to a Syrian text. When a variant first appears in a manuscript, its introduction into the text can be determined by comparing it to manuscripts that date back far further. What benefit is there in knowing that the delivery of our manuscript can be verified? It attests to the consistency of the teachings contained within. We can know with assurance that what the authors wrote 2,000 years ago is what we have today.

• Can you trust that The Bible is reliable? If you answer is NO, start with pray and ask God to guide you during this time so that you can Trust on God’s word.
• Ultimately, the thing that convinces people that Scripture is reliable and can be trusted is by the way we live our life and the change they see in us.

¿Es confiable la Biblia? Parte 2 (Confianza) por el Pastor Yayo

En el 2022 yo (Pastor Yayo) tuve una cirugía grande que requirió un especialista, una persona en la que confiaría para operar mi cuerpo. No conocía al médico como conozco a un amigo, solo lo había visto dos veces en mi vida. Nunca cuestioné si mi médico era confiable, todo lo que hice para ver si podía confiar en él fue buscar sus reseñas en Google y confiar en que haría bien su trabajo, lo cual hizo. Confié en su título colgado en la pared de su oficina. Así como confiamos en nuestros médicos, debemos confiar en que la Biblia es confiable.
Primero, necesitamos ver que la Biblia es literalmente “inspirada por Dios”

Cuando se trata de Dios y la Biblia, se aplican los mismos principios. Elegimos en lo que confiamos. Mire este hecho sobre la Biblia: La Biblia tiene la mayor cantidad de copias que han sobrevivido de cualquier texto antiguo, lo que hace posible verificar errores o corrupción en el texto. • En última instancia, lo que convence a las personas de que las Escrituras son confiables y confiables es la forma en que vivimos nuestra vida y el cambio que ven en nosotros.
