Started by just a few families, the Mount has grown to over 3000 in attendance across 3 physical locations and a campus online. The Mount Church is a growing multi-ethnic church that has been called to make a difference for one more.

Summary

The Engagement Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and volunteer support for the Engagement Ministry across campus ministries and events. This role helps create a welcoming and organized environment by supporting guest engagement, First Steps, Membership, volunteer coordination, outreach initiatives, and campus hospitality efforts.

The Engagement Coordinator serves as a key administrative and relational support role, ensuring ministry systems, communication, volunteer teams, and engagement processes operate effectively and consistently across campuses.

General

  • Effectively carry out and support the vision established by the Lead Pastor and Engagement leadership.
  • Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for serving people.
  • Commit to and uphold Staff DNA, church values, and organizational policies.
  • Nurture and care for staff, volunteers, guests, and ministry participants.
  • Provide administrative support for Engagement Ministry teams and campus leadership.
  • Provide support and assist as needed on Sundays 7AM – 1PM
  • Attend weekly Engagement and/or Campus staff meetings for planning, updates, and development.
  • Attend required all staff meetings and ministry meetings.
  • Provide support during weekend services, ministry events, and special initiatives as needed.
  • Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned.

Personal Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support for the Engagement Ministry
  • Collaborate with campus coordinators to ensure alignment and operational excellence as well as assist with resourcing global events.
  • Prepare ministry documents, reports, schedules, and communication as directed.
  • Assist with Planning Center and Ministry Platform data entry and management.
  • Maintain organized ministry records and databases.
  • Order and maintain Engagement ministry supplies and materials for all campuses.
  • Enter invoices and assist with administrative financial processes as needed.
  • Assist with workflow development and after-action reviews for ministry events and initiatives.
  • Maintain calendars, appointments, and scheduling support for ministry leadership.

Volunteer Coordination & Team Support

  • Coordinate volunteer schedules for Engagement teams.
  • Recruit, onboard, communicate with, and support volunteers.
  • Assist with volunteer continuity, scheduling, and team development.
  • Help manage volunteer events, training, and hospitality initiatives.
  • Support volunteer recruitment strategies across campuses.

Guest Engagement & Next Steps

  • Support the First-Time Guest process and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Enter guest and attendee information into Ministry Platform and other systems.
  • Assist guests and attendees as they take next steps at The Mount.
  • Send follow-up emails and communication to guests, volunteers, and ministry participants.
  • Assist with leader and table host communication for First Steps and Membership classes.

Event Coordination & Outreach Support

  • Help coordinate and support campus-wide events, hospitality gatherings, and outreach initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for local outreach opportunities and Engagement events.
  • Coordinate event registrations, volunteer assignments, and communication.
