Under the guidelines of government officials, The Mount will restart in-person Sunday Morning Services on July 5th. However, things will be different than usual. While we cannot guarantee a germ-free environment, we are taking steps to help prevent transmission of Covid-19.  You can read more about those steps below:

During Phase 2, we will have Saturday Prayer Services and Sunday Morning Services. There will be no Sunday kids ministry activities, nursery, or Wednesday night activities. We encourage Small Groups to continue meeting. (The outdoor spaces at The Mount are open for use.)

– Before every service, the sanctuary and all high-touch surfaces will be disinfected.  We will only allow people in the room after that procedure is complete.

– We care about your health and safety.  If you are in a high-risk group, we encourage you to continue attending online during Phase 1.

– If you are sick, have a fever, present any signs of cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days, please stay home.

– As a result of social distancing guidelines, our capacity is limited to 50% capacity in our services.

– If wearing a facemask and gloves are most comfortable for you during this time, we encourage you to wear and bring those to our services. We will not provide disposable masks or gloves.

– We will not shake hands, hug, or high five.  Instead, we will air hug, wave, and smile.

– There will be a “no physical touch” policy and a 6’ distance will be requested of all persons not under the same household

– Families are requested to sit together in the sanctuary.  There will be at least two empty seats (or 6’ separation) between parties in every other row.

– Common areas and gathering spaces of the building will be closed.  That includes the foyer, kids ministry areas, and any place where people might congregate.

– Hand sanitizing stations are set up throughout the building.  We encourage their frequent use by all guests.

– If you need to sneeze or cough, please cover your mouth and nose or sneeze into your elbow.

– Bathrooms will be open and available for use. We encourage you to use our disinfected wipes located in each bathroom to wipe down surfaces before and after your use.

– Drinking fountains and water dispensers will not be available for use. Please plan accordingly and bring a water bottle to hydrate during our services.

During our services, we will be refraining from passing an offering bucket. Instead, we encourage you to use the offering boxes located in the back of the Sanctuary

– We encourage you to continue giving online.
